While doing so, the doctor uses a duplex ultrasound screen to monitor the vein. Laser is less traumatic than vein ligation and stripping, and it takes less time to recover. Laser treatment requires only local anesthesia or a light sedative.

You will be able to walk after the therapy, and recovery time is usually brief. After simple laser treatment, you should be able to resume your normal daily routine.
